Snak The Ripper – Eight Hours a Day | Video

Check out the Stuey Kubrick visuals for Snak The Ripper’s Eight Hours a Day. The video follows Snak as he goes about his day and is an ode to the working rapper. Stuey proves once again that everything is better in slow-motion, especially loogies.

This is the lead single off of Snak’s upcoming album Just Giver. The album is being released April 29th but can be pre-ordered on iTunes now. I recommend checking out this album, if only for the artwork alone.

The single features local artist White Rhino and J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks as animations as they rap about being tired of main stream rap. J-Ro does his best to relate to us Canadians by mentioning he went to highschool with former Alouettes running back, Michael Pringle.

The animation was done by Dion Johnson.

WPGHipHop Interviews Steve & Diz

Swing Adam of WPGHipHop recently stopped by Room 220 to interview Steve & Diz following their Headzup performance. It is a good portrait of the duos’ sense of humour, I was in the building working the sound boards for this interview and I must say we had a hilarious time recording it.

The interview also contains footage from Steve & Diz’s upcoming video Feelin’ This off of Thousand Thread Count . The video will be released on WATG Monday Mar. 24th.

The next Headzup is going down this week with KayR, so swing by The Loft anytime after 9pm.
